About Us
GEW in the Dutch Caribbean
In 2014 Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) granted a license to Fundashon Negoshi Pikiña (FNP) to host Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) yearly on the Dutch Caribbean islands.
In the year of 2021 GEW was celebrated from November 15th to November 21st, on the island of Curaçao, Bonaire and Sint Maarten. A year later we were able to add Sint Eustatius to our GEW celebration.
Many thanks to our friends of GEW, sponsors, partners and GEW-team. Global Entrepreneurship Week Bonaire features a diversified full week program that includes presentations by successful International and Local entrepreneurs.
Keynote speeches featuring in the past Jeff Hoffman, ex booking.com chairman of Global Entrepreneurship Network, workshops, debate competitions, expositions, artistic shows, new business ideas, while upholding educational programs, sports, health, finances and more.
In 2019: Swati Mandela, granddaughter of Nelson Mandela was featured as a keynote speaker on Curacao and Bonaire.
Thru out the years GEW team has kept a host of certification events for more than 1500 students of SGB. Through these activities we are able to showcase the entrepreneurial activities on the island through businesses as well as students in order to inspire other entrepreneurs of the possibilities our island has to offer.
The intent of the GEW is to collaborate with other organizations and partners, in order to highlight the importance of businesses for our local economy. Some of these activities are organized by the GEW Bonaire team, while other events are organized and hosted by a growing number of partner organizations.
GEW-Bonaire would like to thank the inhabitants and business of Bonaire for their support yearly not to mention our 9th edition while looking forward to the future where our 10th edition we will be able to celebrate as a community all the challenges and progress we have made.
This is our desire for each one: Life should never focus on what divides us but What unites us. Thank you GEW-Bonaire for occupying a space in the hearts of our people.
